Genesis 32:28-30

²⁸ And said he, ^(A)Thy name shall be called Jacob no more, but Israel: because thou hast had ^[a]power with God, thou shalt also prevail with men.

²⁹ And Jacob demanded, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore now dost thou ask my name? and he blessed him there.

³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place, Peniel: for, said he, I have seen God face to face, and ^[b]my life is preserved.
